Information we collect
We collect information needed to operate the NextModel website, developer dashboard, API gateway, usage reporting, and prepaid credits workflow.
- Account details such as email address, login session identifiers, and team or project membership.
- API key metadata such as key prefix, status, creation time, and last use time. Raw API keys are not stored after one-time reveal.
- Usage and billing metadata such as request counts, token counts, latency, model identifiers, estimated cost, credits balance, and ledger events.
- Checkout and payment metadata provided through Paddle, including transaction identifiers, amount, currency, and receipt status.
- Operational security data such as IP address, device information, cookie/session data, and anti-abuse signals.
How we use information
- To authenticate users and protect developer accounts.
- To route model requests, maintain usage records, and reconcile prepaid credits.
- To operate checkout, receipts, fraud review, and support workflows.
- To diagnose outages, enforce rate limits, and improve reliability and abuse prevention.
- To comply with legal obligations and payment network requirements.
What we do not store as product records
NextModel is designed to avoid persisting raw prompt and raw response content in usage ledgers that power dashboard reporting. Some transient request handling may still occur in order to deliver model responses, but our billing and usage records are intentionally limited to aggregated or operational metadata.
Payment processors and service providers
We use third-party infrastructure and payment vendors to run the service. Depending on the workflow, data may be processed by providers such as Paddle for checkout and receipts, Cloudflare for hosting and request delivery, Upstash for operational data storage, and upstream model providers for API completion delivery.
Payment card details are handled by the payment processor during checkout rather than being stored directly by NextModel.
Cookies and session data
We use cookies and session mechanisms to keep users signed in, protect account access, and preserve checkout return flows. Some analytics, anti-abuse, or infrastructure providers may also set technical cookies needed to deliver the service securely.
Retention and security
We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain financial records, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and comply with applicable law. We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect account, billing, and operational records, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Applicable law
We operate as a China-based business and process service operations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, together with any other rules that apply to the specific payment, infrastructure, or provider relationships involved in delivering the service.
Your choices and contact
If you need access, correction, deletion, billing support, or privacy assistance, contact us at contact@nextmodel.app. We may need to verify account ownership before fulfilling certain requests.
If a request relates to a Paddle payment or receipt, please include the transaction ID or receipt details so we can coordinate with the payment processor efficiently.
