This page explains how Australia-based teams use NextModel's OpenAI-compatible gateway. Add NextModel as an OpenAI-compatible provider in Cherry Studio. It adds the practical steps, configuration notes, and common questions.
Provider settings
In Settings → Model Services, add a provider of type OpenAI. All three fields come straight from your account.

Claude models in Cherry Studio
Cherry Studio's Anthropic provider type also works: the API host is the same base URL — the gateway serves the Anthropic wire format on /v1/messages, so no /claude path suffix is needed. Model ids stay full catalog ids such as anthropic/claude-sonnet-4.5.
